The Bank Tavern

A proper old school Bristol boozer, The Bank Tavern is full of charm and a wonderful spot for locals to pop their heads in for a swift few. The Bank might be small and cosy, but everyone is welcome and this pub is often filled with punters every night just having a good time. Landlord Sam is warm and friendly, and knows pretty much everyone who visits due to The Bank’s popularity with it’s regulars. They also do the most epic Sunday roast, it’s worth popping in for that alone.

Oh The Galli. We love you so. It seems that we aren’t the ones who feel this way, as this Bristol pub offers it all. A quiet place to meet a friend for a drink, a low-key setting for a date, live music for those nights out with friends and also delicious small plates, bigger mains and delicious Sunday roasts. With it’s outside seating perfect for the summer months and it’s cosy interior and colourful and creative ceiling for those colder climes, it encompasses everything a good watering hole should be.

Cider I Up! The Apple is that glorious cider boat which is moored just off the end of King Street. With it’s sprawling patio seating and comfortable little boat to sit in, this unique boozer offers a whole range of delicious and unusual ciders for trying and wobbling home after drinking. The summertime is when it’s at it’s best, sitting amongst all the other Bristolian cider lovers and soaking up the sunshine with a cold one.

The pub on North Street is a cosy street side boozer with lots of fun antique quirks and a lovely garden area out the back. The pub is dog friendly and has lots of snug corners to get lost in over a few drinks. The Bookshop regularly hosts live music nights and DJ’s on the weekend – or is perfect for a midweek pint.
