Bursting with new openings and award-winning restaurants, it’s no surprise that our beautiful city has been referred to as having the best food scene in the UK by many!

Booming with incredible eats, two Indian restaurants have now joined the table of award-winning restaurants in Bristol.

Last week saw the Urban Tandoor take home an incredibly prestigious title from the Asian Curry Awards who crowned them ‘the country’s best Asian healthy eating restaurant’.

This week, our attention shifts to Paprika. Nestled in Whitchurch, the restaurant is no stranger to awards. Just last year, Paprika’s head chef was crowned Chef of the Year and a year on, we see the Rahman brothers take on the Bangladeshi Catering Association Awards.

We couldn’t be happier for Paprika as they have now been crowned Restaurant of the Year 2017 in the South West!

Speaking of their achievements, the Rahman brothers said: “ It was an honour simply to be short-listed for this award so to win it really is fantastic.

“We’ve been working really hard lately on improving our restaurant to become one of the best in the country and this recognition shows we are on the right track.

“After building up our brand in South Bristol we now have people travelling from all over the city to try our food and we hope this award leads to even more customers from far and wide.”
