When we found out that Burger Theory were running a bottomless burger club, we couldn’t contain our excitement. Unlimited burgers? Unlimited sides? And unlimited BOOZE? It sounded like our idea of ACTUAL heaven.

We’ve long been fans of Burger Theory; ever since they started doing the rounds at Bristol street food markets, before then moving into Kong’s kitchen and finally getting a place of their own. We’ve always found their burgers to be consistently good and yet they still aren’t afraid to experiment with menu specials and collaborations. Our editor Nat hails their Prairie Girl chicken burger as one of the best in Bristol, and she doesn’t mess around.

Bottomless Burger Club happens monthly, on a Sunday. All of the details (alongside a fantastic video) can be found on their website, or Facebook page. Sittings last two hours – so you choose your slot, get your mates and book in. It works like this, the menu features the Burger Theory classic burgers and vegetarian options, but they come in slider size. You can order as many of these as you like over 2 hours (eat your burgers that are in front of you before ordering more) and take advantage of bottomless sides such as halloumi and skin on fries or chicken wings. Then there’s booze, and plenty of it. Prosecco, Ale or beer (which is generously topped up whenever you are ready). It’s the flippin’ dream guys.

We went along for the last bank holiday and as ever, there was a great atmosphere in Burger Theory – why wouldn’t there be, people were chomping down on endless baps! A big group of lads were obviously starting off their bank holiday in style, whilst there was also a birthday party group in and then smaller groups of friends and couples. We asked GM Tom what was the most anyone had ever eaten at one of these clubs, and he said 12 sliders. So, that was what we had to beat.

We started off with halloumi fries and chicken wings, which went down all too well. The halloumi fries come topped with tzatziki and they are chunky and delicious, whilst the chicken wings were crispy, juicy and not to mention messy – just how we like them! Then the burgers started coming. Prairie Girl’s, Cheese Theory’s, The KFC, The Don, The Hairy Beast.. we were tucking in!

The sliders are really impressive, they are packed full just like the bigger versions and slider sizes means more variety! You can literally work your way through the menu if you so wish, and if you have the stomach for it. The booze was topped up as fast as we could drink it, so there is no doubt that you absolutely get your value for money too.

So if you fancy the alternative to bottomless brunch, then bottomless burgers are absolutely the way to go! There is so much choice within the menu and vegetarians are well catered for too. It’s a great laugh with the tunes pumping, booze pouring and burgers being chomped on. We think the guy at Burger Theory are pretty genius.
